Helps students develop the knowledge and skills required to identify various classes of hazardous materials as well as the basic options, requirements, and limitations of the methods used to control, contain, or confine a hazardous materials incident. Based in part on FEMA/USFA/NFA Basic Concepts and Concept Implementation courses.
