Teaches safe operation of a wide variety of fire rescue vehicles and pump equipment. Topics include safe emergency driving tactics and skills; routine maintenance; identification and safe operation of various pumps; basic hydraulic principles and their effect on water flow, water hydrants and water supplies; and foam and foam applications. Satisfies NFPA 1002, Standard for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications.
