Prereq: MATH 102. Includes the steps of anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort among workers or citizens of the community. These stresses may be in the form of chemical hazards such as dusts, fumes, gases, vapors, and mists. Physical hazards such as noise, radiation, temperature extremes, vibration, and pressure extremes may also be encountered, with biological and ergonomic hazards. Sp odd; ISP, ISW.
