Serves students working toward competence and fluency in college-level reading and writing.CAS students who place into English 105 must complete the course with a grade of D or better in order to register for English 107. SPS students who place into English 105 must complete the course with a grade of C or better in order to register for English 107. Formerly ENG 105 Introduction to College Writing. This course may not be taken as pass/fail by students in the School of Professional Studies. 3 credits Prerequisites for College of Arts and Sciences: Placement test proficiency Prerequisites for School of Professional Studies: Grade of C or higher inENGL 103 OR score of 57 or higher on Sentence Skills portion and score of 7 or 8 on Writing portion of Accuplacer test.
