This is a continuation of General Chemistry I. Principles learned in General Chemistry I will be expanded in this course to include kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, solubility, and pH. Inquiry based study in the concurrent laboratory component will provide hands-on application of appropriate lecture material and reinforce both the quantitative and qualitative components of chemistry. Laboratory fee required. Prerequisite: CHM105
