This course is offered to provide competent students an opportunity to do independent study and research. Prior to registration, a student is required to obtain approval from a professor in the department who consents to serve as faculty supervisor. For Travel Study trips, multiple trips may be taken, but only one travel course will count toward the minimum hours for a biology major or minor.
