Prerequisite: ENG 1010 or 1100. This writing-intensive survey course involves literature from periods and/or countries of origin which extend beyond the delineations of our traditional survey courses, combining the study of literature in a historical/cultural context with a focused refinement of writing skills developed in Freshman Composition. Students may repeat this course, under different topics, once, for a total of six (6) hours credit.
