A study of a variety of dance forms and rhythmical activities suitable for teaching in the school setting will be explored. Gymnastics will introduce basic principles of the body management skills, spatial awareness and sequencing skills. Students are required to perform movement patterns which have gymnastic qualities throughout the course. Appropriate methods of classroom management, teaching techniques, and procedures will be discussed.
