Includes writers such as Zora Neale Hurston, Jean Toomer, Langston Hughes, Count_ee Cullen, Nella Larsen, Wallace Thurman, Mae Cowdery, Claude McKay, and Jessie Redmon Fauset. Close attention to the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God ( 1937) and FIRE!!, a facsimile reprint of a \little magazine" published by members of the Harlem Renaissance in 1926.
