A study of representative texts of literature written in French by Francophone authors, including among others, works by Léopold Senghor (Senegal), Aimé Césaire (Martinique), Jacques Roumain (Haiti), Le?la Sebbar (Algeria). Open to students majoring in Comparative Literature. Good reading knowledge of French is required; discussions conducted primarily in French.
