Description:

In the first part of the seminar, students will synthesize knowledge gained throughout their women's and gender studies coursework, using their program portfolio to produce a reflective essay. In the second half, students will plan and execute an original project on a topic chosen in consultation with the instructor, conduct focused research on that topic, and ultimately publish the project to the campus community via video, audio, additions to the Women's and Gender Studies website, or presentations to classes or at conferences. This course is required for women's and gender studies minors. Credit: 4
