The internship in women's and gender studies offers students the opportunity to apply their understanding of the dynamics of gender and social change to the world at large while exploring possibilities for their own careers. Interns will design and carry out a project in ongoing consultation with a faculty advisor and a supervisor from a community organization. Interns will write a final paper and make a public presentation reflecting on the internship in light of their academic work in women's and gender studies. Prerequisite(s): WST 101S, WST 330. Every semester. Credit: 4-12
