A survey of major literary trends in Spain, SPA 304 offers a thematic approach to the study of Spanish literature. Themes may include ethnicity, religion, honor, gender roles, and political movements. Representative authors may include Cervantes, San Juan de la Cruz, Santat Teresa de Aviia, Lope Pardo Bazan, Unamumo, Laforet, and others. Prerequisite(s): SPA 202H or permission of instructor.
