SKI 225 - Methods in Alpine Course Setting

The class will focus on setting practice courses, sectional drill courses, and USSA (United States Ski and Snowboard Association) and FIS (International Ski Federation) sanctioned courses. The class is designed to be hands-on and will utilize Titcomb Mountain for the on-hill portion of the class. The indoor classroom portion will begin in late March. Students are required to buy a Titcomb Mountain UMF student seasonal pass. Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor. Spring semester. (Placed on the Inactive Course List Fall 2009) Credit: 4
