The purpose of SKI 120 is to give students an overview of the snowsport industry through the utilization of a variety of snowsport professionals. The course will be taught through the use of classroom lectures, demonstrations, guest lectures, and attending industry trade shows. Students will gain knowledge, skills and understandings that are specific to the snowsport industry. Students will begin to develop a professional rather than recreational view of the industry. After completing this course, students will be able to select and identify where and how they would like to begin or further their participation in the ski industry.
