The course is designed to focus on teaching laboratory science and laboratory safety. Students will create inquiry labs and field experiences based on the National Science Education Standards for middle and high school students. The use of technology in a laboratory and field setting will also be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): Secondary/Middle Science Education Majors, EDU 221, Professional Standing, and EDU 360 Secondary/Middle Science Methods. (Pass/Fail only) Fall semester. Credit: 4
