This course will provide students who are planning to pursue graduate studies in religion with a comprehensive overview of the general field of the history of religions. Students will study works dating from the 16th century until the present in order to understand both the evolution of the field and the methodological tools at their disposal as they move on to more advanced work in this discipline.
