In this course, students explore feminist political thought through the works of both Western and non-Western political philosophers and social activists. Students will discuss various approaches to feminist/womenist theory that treat issues of empowerment, equality, and social justice as well as the implications of overlapping and fluid identities for feminist theory and political activism.
