Rehearsal and performance of music from the chamber choral literature. Admission into the choir is through an audition during the first week of school in the fall and requires a commitment for the entire year. The chamber choir performs on and off campus. Although previous choral experience is desirable, all interested students are encouraged to audition. Rehearses three hours weekly in addition to sectionals and voice classes at different times during the year. Because the Chamber Choir will be singing some of the same works as the Community Chorus, students may not enroll in both (MUS 110A and MUS 210A) in the same semester. May be repeated up to a total of four credits, after which students may audition for MUS 310. Prerequisite(s): audition in the fall semester. Every semester. Credit: 1
