Research into a problem related to the student's academic major. Proposals should be developed in consultation with a faculty member and submitted in writing to the Dean of Academic Services for approval by the Individualized Program Council prior to registration. The student submits the thesis to the supervising faculty member. Course cannot be repeated. Course is designed for liberal arts students only, although other student may be approved upon the merits of their proposals. Prerequisite(s): Approval of the instructor and the Individualized Program Council. Liberal Arts majors only. Variable. Credit: 16
