An introduction to various kinds of dramatic writing, including writing for stage, film, or television. Emphasizing form and technique, the workshop may cover one-act plays, feature-length screenplays, teleplays, or other dramatic forms. Individual conferences and attendance at readings may be required. Prerequisite(s): ENG 100; BFA, ENG, SEN major or ELE/LA concentration, or permission of instructor.
