This course is designed specifically for coaches to prepare them to recognize the need for prevention of athletic injuries and an early response to athletic injuries and possible medical emergencies. The course will utilize the American Sport Education Program (ASEP), the ASEP Sport First Aid textbook and ASEP certification. Class topics will include prevention and care of athletic injuries including training room procedures, taping and other related athletic training duties. Prerequisite(s): PEC 100, BIO 150N.
