This course will address the diversity issues of race, culture, gender, ethnicity, class, affectional orientation, age, and ability as they relate to K-8 teachers and students. The impact of diversity issues on classroom interaction and curriculum decisions and materials will be a major focus. Prerequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in EDU 202 or permission of instructor.
