This course will focus on the constructivist model of teaching and learning and science content knowledge for the K-8 classroom. The emphasis of the course will be on teaching and assessment techniques, strategies and activities that may be used to teach a diverse community of learners in the K-8 science classroom. This course will also include opportunities for application. Prerequisite(s): One laboratory science course; Professional Standing in Elementary Education; junior status or above; concurrent enrollment in the corresponding section of EDU 332. Every semester.
