PRPT 201 - Pre-Physical Therapy Seminar III

This course meets five times during the semester and is meant to guide pre-physical therapy students during their bachelor's in health science course work. Students explore and understand generic abilities of physical therapy professionals as described by the American Physical Therapy Association. This course also reviews the reasons for course selection as prerequisites for physical therapy students toward the DPT. Students complete a servicelearning experience during this course. Students plan and carry out a visit with a physical therapist in professional practice and report back to the group. Participation in the Physical Therapy Student Association is expected. Prerequisite: BS/HS/DPT major.
