Basic ballet movement, technique, vocabulary, musicality, and style are developed through this course. Class includes movement work at the barre, center floor, traveling, and traveling combinations, in adagio and allegro tempi. This course also includes body conditioning with an emphasis on placement and posture. A studio format is used. Prerequisites: Acceptance to the Hartt School Theatre Division, Music Theatre program.
