A study of the basic principles of radiographic imaging and the production of quality radiographs. The control and understanding of x-ray production, the factors of contrast and density, along with the proper film characteristics and processing of radiographs are developed. Emphasis is placed on experiments designed to give the student practical experience. Prerequisite: RAD 226 or permission of instructor.
