This course is designed to train students to develop and deliver workshops on healthrelated topics and social issues that may concern college students. Topics include, but are not limited to, sexual decision making, substance use, eating disorders, and time and stress management. Students will learn assessment skills, group facilitation methods, referral procedures and community resources relevant to the topics on which they present. Students will also be expected to explore their own beliefs and biases regarding the issues discussed. Prerequisite: Application and interview.
