This course is designed to introduce the student to the most current developmentally appropriate programs and curriculum models for working with normal infants and toddlers and those with special needs. The 10 best practices for working with young children (as specified by the Division of Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children) will be a focal point of the course. Students will visit programs for this age group. Prerequisite: EDY 432.
