In this course, students will explore the vital role of the family with regard to having a child in an early childhood program. The course details the role of the early childhood teacher as he/she works with both the child and the family. The vast range of community services available to families and children will be covered. Approaches to working toward the implementation of the best possible service delivery for the child and family will be emphasized. Prerequisite: EDY 332.
