Topics include symmetrical components, perunit analysis, three-phase and DC transmission lines, transient analysis, lightning effects, corona, short-circuit fault analysis, power system protection devices and relaying schemes. Professional elective in the B.S.E.E. program. Prerequisites: Graduate or senior ECE standing with ECE 471. Laboratory fee.
