This course will provide a dual track of design practice. The first part of this course will prepare students for design practices associated with energy systems. The second part of this course will concentrate on detailed product design, which will include drawing, tolerancing, and probabilistic methods. The entire course will include the application of computer-aided engineering tools. Prerequisites: ME 341 and ME 470 (minimum grade of C- in each). Laboratory fee.
