(ENV) Examination of federal and Connecticut state laws, state policies, and state statutes that industry must observe to be in compliance with the DEP's permitting and enforcement programs. The Clean Water Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act are examined and assessed for their strengths and weaknesses, as is Connecticut state statute 22a-454. Prerequisite: Senior or graduate standing in engineering, or permission of instructor.
