This course provides an overview of the fundamental concepts in financial mathematics and an introduction to financial derivatives. Topics include interest rates, annuities, perpetuities, valuation of various financial instruments, term structure of interest rates, duration, financial forwards, futures and options, swaps and other strategies used in risk management.
