An architectural studio course that will focus on the preliminary design, schematic design, and design development of an institutional building. Emphasis will be placed on developing the student's ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information as the design evolves. Students will prepare a major institutional project for review by visiting professionals and faculty. Two lecture hours, six lab hours. Prerequisite: AET 233 or permission of instructor or chair. Laboratory fee.
