BIO 110 considers the following topics in a broad, general survey for the nonmajor: the cellular nature and energy requirements of plants and animals; evolution; genetics; species interaction; ecology. BIO 111 emphasizes the relationship between structure and function of all the systems of the human body. The laboratory is correlated with the lecture.
