This course explores issues and practices in the world of museums and other environments for the display of art. It combines technical matters with theoretical concerns as they relate to exhibitions, art institutions, and a variety of positions available in the museum field, with an emphasis on the job of curator. This fulfills the capstone requirement for the art history major. Prerequisite: A minimum of three art history classes. Visual resource fee.
