This course continues the development of conceptual skills, technical facility, and sensitivity to color. Students are introduced to watercolors, gouache, and dyes through the exploration of a variety of illustration techniques. Emphasis is placed on the handling of materials, visual problem solving, and the development of professional standards critical to the illustrator. Prerequisite: ILS 289.
