PQ: PHYS 13300 or 14300 required; knowledge of computer programming not required. This course introduces the use of computers in the physical sciences. After an introduction to programming basics, we cover numerical solutions to fundamental types of problems, techniques for manipulating large data sets, and computer simulations of complex systems.
