PQ: CMSC 15200 or 12200. Required of students who are majoring in Computer Science. This course is concerned with the mathematical foundations of computer software. We introduce a number of mathematical areas used in the modeling of programming languages and software, including prepositional and predicate logic, basic set theory, relations, and automata theory.
