The goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of genetic models for complex human disorders and quantitative traits. Students also learn how to conduct parametric and nonparametric linkage analyses, as well as linkage disequilibrium mapping using transmission/disequilibruim tests (TDT) and decay of haplotype sharing (DHS).
