PQ: BIOS 20200. Required of students who are majoring in biological chemistry. This course examines a variety of biological problems from a chemical and structural perspective. Topics include macromolecular structure-function relationships, DNA and protein synthesis and repair, RNA folding and catalysis, molecular motors, nitrogen fixation; photosynthesis; and mechanisms of signal transduction.
