PQ: BIOS 20235 or consent of instructor. Students preparing for the health professions must take BIOS 20235 and 20242 in sequence. This course focuses on the physiological problems that animals (including humans) face in natural environments; solutions to these problems that the genome encodes; and the emergent physiological properties of the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and organismal levels of organization.
