This course includes a study of the microscopic structure of cells, tissues, organs and organ systems (nervous, lymphoid, cardiovascular, and integument) as well as their functional significance and clinical relevance. Early embryology and development of higher vertebrates with emphasis on genetic and congenital developmental anomalies are discussed.
