1st Semester. Lect. 3. 2 credits. This course is a basic introduction to the nursing research process. The appropriate nursing research designs and the accompanying threats to validity, sampling, methodology, instrumentation and techniques for establishing reliability and validity are highlighted. Descriptive statistics as well as the normal curve, frequency distributions, z scores and a specified number of inferential techniques for data analysis are included. Prerequisite: NURS 0303, NUR 0306, NUR 306L, NURS 308, NURS 308L, NURS 0310, NURS 0311, NUR 0314.
