1st Semester. Lect. 3, 3 credits.. Design of concrete formwork and introduction to structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete as applied to construction in accordance with ACI Specifications and practices. Working stress and ultimate strength design including methods of analysis of continuous members. Design of formwork for conventional and special concrete structures using all conventional materials. Formwork detailing and construction procedures also are included. Prerequisite: CSMT 0331, 0343 & CSMT 0344.
