Offered on Demand. Lect. 3, Lab 0, 3 credits. Study of oblique shock theory; expansion theory and methods of characteristics, equations of motion and velocity potential form will be used as a basis for the study of small disturbance propagation, development of differential equations of second order which are then solved using the methods of characteristics, design of two-dimensional flow passages and shock interactions with sold boundaries, pressure boundaries and shocks. Prerequisite: MENG 0313.
