Operation and applications of microprocessors including system level organization, analysis of specific processors and software and hardware interface design. Microprocessor development systems including in-circuit emulation, programming using higher-level languages, and implementation of application algorithms. Laboratory work is required. Prerequisites: EENG 0221, EENG 221L, EENG 260, EENG 260L, and CSCI 0229.
