2nd Semester. Lect. 3, 3 credits. Designed to prepare students for entry level positions in professional marketing areas, this course focuses on societal, managerial and strategic issues in marketing theory and practice. The course draws on economics, behavioral science and mathematics to apply marketing principles and theory to products/services in the consumer and industrial markets. Major decisions facing marketing managers and top management in their efforts to harmonize the objectives and resources of an organization, with the needs and opportunities in the marketplace are discussed. Prerequisite: BUSN 0311.
