1st Semester. Lect. 3, 3 credits. Although the techniques each manager uses are different, all managers perform the same basic functions in their jobs. This course examines these functions from the point of view of general principles which comprise management theory. The concepts of authority, responsibility and organizational objectives are emphasized. Both profit-seeking and non-business enterprises are discussed.
